First full day in Rome, we headed off to Vatican City! the museum is so vast there is no possible way to see and absorb everything! we saw what we could and are definitely in museum overload! The sistine chapel was amazing, i mean truely, awestruck! and our necks are still sore from looking up at the paintings! St peters basilica is truly an incredible experience. the church is so large and full of altars, paintings, and scultures. there is no way to describe...all of these places can really only come to life in person, pictures cant even do it justice...but we will try! pictures to come!

Grandpa and I remember, vividly, museum overload! Too many DaVincis, too many Micheangelos, too many carved absolutely beautiful pillars!
Keep going! this is a once in a lige time exprience...absorb every crack and every pillar and every ceiling.
