Summer projects

For 2 years I have thought about doing something with the part of our yard in the back that is just ivy. 18 months ago I ripped a section up to put in a sandbox...but never made the sandbox. So this weekend I decided to finally do something! I found a little playhouse on craigslist for $10, and bought a little sandbox. (I tell myself that it is a short fix until I make my own but we will see!) After some Sunday morning grunt work, the little house is now in the left corner of the yard where a lot of ivy used to be. And the sandbox is in the right corner. Both have been leveled and placed and I look forward to the next step of filling in the area around them.
