After our fun filled 3 days at Disneyland, we drove down to San Diego to prepare for the second part of our vacation! Our first day there was a day to relax and recooperate. I spent half the day trying to get medication for Lexi's ear infection she had been battling our whole trip. Then we went out to a nice lunch, swam in the hot tub, went for a little walk, and just relaxed at the hotel.
Here is what the kids bought with their gift cards from their birthdays.
The next day was Legoland! Both the kids favorite part of the trip, but Anthony and I were a little underwhelmed. The rides were really small and for pretty small kids which was especially obvious after just having been to Disneyland. But, the lines were very short and the kids even had a blast looking at the Lego city's that were built, not to mention all the Star Wars scenes!
Knights!
The rocking boat!
Build your own boat and then race them!
Drive your own car!
Planes! Look at Gavin in the background!
At the castle playground building a car for Lexi
Waiting in line Gavin built this cool ship to race!
Building a superhero
Lexi's friends
Emmet!
We had finished the whole park and had an hour left before closing, so we let the kids do whatever they wanted. Gavin and Anthony went to build Legos and play video games, and Lexi and I went on 3 roller coasters, a big slide twice, airplanes, and this hopper ride! She was so excited!
After Legolnd we found a delicious restaurant! Here papa is entertaining the kids by drawing Peter Pan!
Sea world! The polar bear was rolling around in the snow like a playful dog it was so cute!
Look at that pose!
Our last stop on the trip was to see the copes! We had a great time with them! How is this the only pic I got!
