Last Saturday, Anthony was sent to Texas to be stationed in case a fire broke out. It was sudden and very hard for us to take, since we are used to having Papa around everyday. I had to go to work the next day after a sleepless night. And without provocation, Lacey and Dan picked the kids up from daycare, took them to my house, and cooked dinner for me. All I had to do was walk in the house, shower, and eat! It was so wonderful and so badly needed!! I worked 5 out of 7 days due to the fact that I had to change my schedule around when Anthony left, and on the last day that I worked, Lacey and Dan had me over for dinner so that I could take the night off cooking. The next day, Lacey and I went for pedicures while Dan watched the munchkins! We came home and they sent me to their room for a nap while they continued to watch the kids! Do I have the best Sis and Bro-in-law or what??!!
I am so excited to be living so close to these two as they embark on their journey into parentdome. Although, they've had so much practice, they are old pros at this point.
Thanks so much you guys! Love you both!

Wow you are so lucky to have family so close. Dan and Lacey way to step up and help your family in a time of need!
That is SO sweet of them!! I'm sure they were more than happy to help you out and give you a much needed rest. They know you'll repay the favor, not that they'll expect it. Yay for Dan and Lacey!
